Heart failure on the 7th tee cut Grandfather’s golf game short; a few days later he passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Oct. 26. He would not have tee’d it up any other way than to finish the game with his Savior, Jesus. His wishes were for family to spread his ashes in Hawaii in lieu of a memorial service. He is survived by his children, Lori Sandberg, Holly Padilla, Dane Baumgardner and many grandchildren. An active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church for over 40 years, he will be remembered for his colorful style.
