National security contractor ManTech International Corp. announced Thursday that it has acquired Chula Vista-based technology company MTCSC Inc. for $75 million in cash.
MTCSC, which provides systems integration, cyber security and network engineering solutions, holds several large contracts with the Marine Corps, most of them for classified efforts.
ManTech said in a statement that the acqusition will add to its systems integration and cyber capabilities. The company also expects the move to contribute to operating margins and boost its earnings per share in 2011.
ManTech, headquartered in Fairfax, Va., has a workforce of approximately 10,000 people in 40 countries.
