One drive works, the other doesn’t

Based on the opening drives, it could be a long night for Redlands East Valley.

Chris Polk got drilled on his first carry and REV had to punt from midfield. Riverside North then marched down the fielf behind the running and receiving of Cedric Foster and James Calhoun. Jamar Calhoun, James’ little brother, ended the drive with a four-yard touchdown run on a quarterback sneak. North got the two-point conversion to make it 8-0.

The first quarter just ended with REV at the North 38 on its second drive. They need some points here because the Huskies look tough to stop.
