Boys’ basketball: Mater Dei will be without one Wear twin

First place is on the line tonight in the Trinity League when unbeaten Mater Dei plays host to Orange Lutheran, and the Monarchs will be without 6-foot-10 Travis Wear, who is home sick with flu-like symptoms.

Brother David Wear, also 6-10, will be entrusted with having to stay out of foul trouble and do a little more scoring inside. Also ill is Tyler Lamb, but he has arrived at Mater Dei and appears ready to go.
