Baseball: Newbury Park’s Sherfy picks Oregon

Newbury Park junior third baseman/pitcher Jimmy Sherfy has committed to Oregon, according to Coach Chuck Berrington.

Sherfy is the second Newbury Park player to commit to Oregon -- senior second baseman Jack Marder committed to the Ducks last year.
