Baseball: Crenshaw takes over first place in Coliseum League

Crenshaw defeated Fremont Wednesday to take over first place in the Coliseum League. Arleta strengthened its hold on second place in the East Valley League with a 6-3 victory over Van Nuys Grant. Javy Lopez improved to 6-2 and also contributed two hits for Arleta (17-11, 9-5).

Harbor City Narbonne improved to 10-2 in the Marine League with a 7-3 victory over Wilmington Banning.
