Girls’ basketball: Muir opens strong

Third-seeded Muir has come to play tonight.

The Mustangs opened the Southern Section Division 3A championship against top-seeded Santa Margarita on a 7-0 run.

Santa Margarita regrouped and closed the first quarter with a 6-2 run, and trails 9-6.
