Gardena Serra has scored 20 unanswered points to take a 21-14 lead over Folsom in the Division II state bowl game at Home Depot Center.

Shaquille Richard took a hand-off 16 yards up the gut for the go-ahead score with 3:17 left in the second quarter, but Francisco Olloqui‘s extra-point attempt hit the right upright.
