Boys’ basketball: Spartans up 39-35 after three quarters

It’s been a game of runs and La Canada is ahead of Price 39-35 going into the fourth quarter of the Southern Section Division 3AA championship game at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The Spartans opened the second half on an 11-2 run to build a 39-25 lead, but the Knights scored the last 10 points of the third quarter. Price guard Chance Murray has made six of seven shots for a game-high 14 points.
