Football: Air Jackrabbits strike first against Narbonne

Long Beach Poly quarterback Chaiyse Hales completed all three passes on a long scoring drive for the Jackrabbits that culminated in a 19-yard connection with Josiah Blandin in the corner of the end zone.

Poly leads Narbonne, 6-0, late in the first quarter after the extra point missed.

Narbonne moved the ball impressively on its opening drive before a fourth-down pass fell incomplete, giving the Jackrabbits the ball at their own 27-yard line. Manusamoa Luuga then broke off a 30-yard run and Hales completed all three passes for 39 yards.
