Football: Jordan Payton comes through for Oaks Christian

On fourth-and-goal, Jordan Payton caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Dawkins, enabling Oaks Christian to tie Westlake, 7-7. Both schools have scored on their opening possession.

Alex Ball’s 33-yard field goal has given Westlake a 10-7 lead with five minutes left in first quarter. Ball made another field, from 40 yards, for a 13-7 lead in the first quarter.
