It remains to be seen if Los Angeles Loyola is going to win a Southern Section track and field title this season, but the Cubs sure are good in relays.
At the California Relays last week, the distance medley team ran a national-leading time of 10:10.44. The 4x1,600 relay team also ran a top time of 17:53.33.
In the previous weekend, the 4x800 relay team ran the top time in the nation in 7:53.33.
Loyola has won four consecutive Division II track titles and faces Sherman Oaks Notre Dame in a dual meet on Thursday.
