A woman celebrating the New Year at Disneyland was shot in the leg five minutes after midnight, Anaheim police said. Sgt. Jack Jansen said Holly Lynn Huffman, 34, was hit by a .38-caliber slug in the left thigh while sitting on her boyfriend’s shoulders. Police do not know where the bullet came from, but believe that it was fired by someone outside the park who shot in the air to celebrate the New Year. Huffman was given emergency treatment and transferred to the naval hospital in Long Beach, police said.
