U.S. Nun Kidnaped in Nicaragua

MANAGUA, Nicaragua — Nicaraguan rebels opposed to the leftist Sandinista government killed 13 civilians and kidnaped 10 others, including an American nun, in a series of attacks, state radio announced today.
The U.S. Maryknoll nun, whose identity was not made known, was kidnaped by rebels of the Nicaraguan Democratic Force near San Sebastian de Yali, about 75 miles north of Managua, official Voz de Nicaragua reported. It gave no more details and there was no independent confirmation of the abduction.
