Gallagher Leads CS Fullerton Women

Cal State Fullerton women’s basketball team, led by Meg Gallagher’s 19 points and 8 assists, defeated the University of Arizona, 59-47, in a Western Collegiate Athletic Assn. game Thursday night in Titan Gym.

Arizona led 21-19 at halftime, but Fullerton came back to lead by as many as 16 points in the second half.

Linzi Philips had 13 points and Robin Holmes added 11 for the Titans (4-1 in the WCAA, 13-5 overall).

Kirsten Smith had 12 points and Tannis Overturf 10 for Arizona (0-5, 5-12).
