USD Women Lose to U.S. International

SAN DIEGO — The University of San Diego women’s basketball team had a six-game winning streak snapped by U.S. International in a 68-67 loss Friday night at the USD Sports Center.
USIU (9-12) was led by forward Toya DeCree, who scored a game-high 25 points. Fiona Murray had 12, and Amanda Spry added 11.
USD (9-11) was led by Mary Stanbra, who scored 20 points. Cathy O’Brien had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Debbie Theroux added 12 points.
