Cleveland High led by only eight points at halftime, but sped away from Grant High in the second half to register its fifth Valley 4-A League win against three losses.
Kim Green scored 18 points to pace the Cavaliers. Erica Abson scored 12 points and Jennifer Miller added 10 for Cleveland. Cindy Okano scored 12 points for Grant.
Cleveland improved its overall record to 15-6. Grant is 0-8 in league and 2-9 overall.
