E. B. Buster, president of Cherry Textron, the Santa Ana division of Textron Inc., was elected chairman of the board of the Merchants and Manufacturers Assn. Buster is the first to ever hold the post in the 89-year history of the Los Angeles-based organization. The association provides a services, including research and surveys in wage compensation and personnel practices, for about 3,000 member companies.
