Man Dies in Huntington Beach Holdup

A man was stabbed to death and another was wounded in a robbery inside an apartment complex in the 8000 block of Holland Street in Huntington Beach. Police Sgt. Bill Peterson said three suspects, two men and a woman, burst into the victims’ apartment carrying a sawed-off shotgun and demanded money. Peterson said the victims resisted and were stabbed, and the suspects fled with an undetermined amount of cash. Officers said the unidentified victim was in his middle to late 20s and died of a stab wound to the chest. The other occupant of the apartment, aged 23 but also unidentified, was taken to Pacifica Hospital with a stab wound in the arm.
