A 17-year-old Navy man riding a motorcycle died Saturday in Casa de Oro when he was spilled onto the road and hit by a car on Jamacha Road, just east of California 94, a spokesman with the San Diego County coroner’s office said. Michael J. O’Neill was a passenger on a motorcycle when the driver hit the median, causing both men to fall to the pavement. A car swerved to avoid the motorcycle but hit O’Neill, the spokesman said. O’Neill was pronounced dead at 1:45 a.m. The drivers of the motorcycle and the car were not injured.
