Melanie Reed won three events Sunday afternoon to lead UC Irvine past Northern Arizona, 74-66, in a nonconference women’s swimming meet at Irvine.
Reed won the 50 freestyle in a time of 25.50 seconds, the 100 free in 56.40 and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team. Sandy Braun, also a member of the medley relay, won the 200 breast in 2:38.75.
The Anteaters’ Michele Gibbs won the one- and three-meter diving.
Irvine (9-3) will face UC Santa Barbara at Goleta next Saturday.
