Assistant Agriculture Secretary Jarratt Resigns

WASHINGTON — Mary C. Jarratt, assistant secretary of agriculture for food and consumer services, has resigned, effective June 1, to pursue “options in the private sector,” an Agriculture Department spokesman said Friday.
