Arthur Barrington Takes Reins of Plumbing Group

Arthur E. Barrington, president of Barrington Plumbing Co., Pasadena, has been installed as 1985 president of the Plumbing and Piping Industry Council Inc. (PIPE), succeeding Merlin Geddes of the Geddes Co., Arcadia.
Other new officers are George Benoit of George Benoit Plumbing, Northridge, vice president; Wesley Gemeinhardt of Gems Mechanical Corp., Riverside, secretary, and Geddes as immediate past president.
New members of the board of governors are Dean Shull Jr. of Long Beach, John G. Picone of Rancho Cucamonga, E. A. Norris of Baldwin Park, Elaine Bookout of Hermosa Beach and William Cerney of La Jolla.
Barrington was president of the California Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors for 1983-84 and currently is president of the California Legislative Conference of the Plumbing-Heating and Piping Industry.
