CHICAGO — The rookie sensation of the 1984-85 NBA season, Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls, continues to awe even his teammates.
“The thing that’s most amazing about Jordan,” teammate Steve Johnson commented, “is that he is able to practice in the morning, give interviews all afternoon, and still be able to concentrate on the game at night. Speaking only for myself, I get so keyed up for a game that I won’t answer the phone on game day even if it’s my mother calling.”
