WASHINGTON — President Reagan will hold the first news conference of his second term at 5 p.m. PST Thursday, his spokesman announced today.
Spokesman Larry Speakes said the 30-minute question-and-answer session with reporters will be held in the White House East Room. It will be Reagan’s first formal press session since Jan. 9. Before that, the President had gone nearly six months without holding a formal news conference.
