Six of the top 15 men’s college gymnastics teams are scheduled to meet at 7:30 tonight in Titan Gym for the Titan Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton.
Fourth-ranked Nebraska, the five-time NCAA champion, highlights a list of perennial gymnastics powers that includes fifth-ranked New Mexico, No. 10 Minnesota, No. 12 Illinois, No. 13 Stanford and No. 15 Fullerton.
The Titans are coming off a school record 275.1 team score and upset victory over previously 10th-ranked Brigham Young and Houston last week. The Titans are led by senior Shawn McNulty, who holds the school record with a 9.8 on the rings, and Cody Oakland, who holds the Titans’ all-around record at 55.95.
As an added attraction, the L.A. City Rockers, a group of street dancers, are scheduled to perform following the meet.
