Fullerton College will be seeking its sixth consecutive South Coast Conference victory tonight when the Hornets play Santa Ana in the Dons’ gym at 7:30.
Fullerton (10-3 in conference and 16-10 overall) moved into a second-place tie with Mt. San Antonio Monday when the Hornets beat Golden West and Mt. San Antonio lost to Cerritos.
Fullerton could move into sole possession of second place if it beats struggling Santa Ana (2-11, 10-15) and host Mt. San Antonio (10-3, 23-4) is upset by Orange Coast (8-6, 17-11). The second place finisher in the SCC will have the home-court advantage throughout the Shaughnessy playoffs that begin March 2.
In other South Coast Conference games tonight: Saddleback (5-8, 15-12) is at Golden West (0-14, 7-20) and Cypress (7-6, 13-10) is at Compton.
