A woman who had made threats against the sheriff barged into a Slidell, La., sixth-grade classroom and abducted the sheriff’s 11-year-old son at gunpoint, authorities said. The woman, Linda Danner, 30, was arrested two hours later and the boy was freed unharmed. Sheriff Pat Canulette of St. Tammany Parish said he does not know Danner.
