Three women high school All-American volleyball players--6-0 setter Ann Boyer of Poway High in San Diego County, 6-0 outside hitter Jenny Crocker of Granite Hills High in El Cajon and 6-1 middle blocker Sharyl Bilas of Rolling Hills High--have signed letters of intent with UCLA, according to Andy Banachowski, UCLA women’s volleyball coach.
Boyer, considered on of the nation’s top prep setters, led Poway to a San Diego CIF championship. Crocker was a San Diego All-CIF selection three times, and Bilas, sister of Duke University basketball player Jay Bilas, was twice named all-Bay League.
Reggie Wauls, a 6-2, 210-pound sophomore linebacker for West Los Angeles College last season, has signed a letter of intent with Cal State Northridge.
