Hornets Rally to Beat Mt. SAC for Crown

Fullerton College broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth inning to defeat Cypress, 10-4, Sunday in the championship game of the Mt. San Antonio College Tournament at Walnut.
The Hornets, who came back from the losers’ bracket to win five straight games in three days, scored the go-ahead run when Darren Nelson drove in Kyle Olson with a sacrifice fly.
In other action:
Orange Coast 14, Alumni 14--Darrin Garner, Gene Roumimper and Ed Pimentel each had three hits as the Pirates tied with their alumni at Pirate Park.
