Burke’s 137 Leads Sanders Golf by One

Pat Burke, a sophomore from Cal State Dominguez Hills, shot rounds of 65 and 72 Monday for a one-stroke lead over Mark Levander of UCLA, who had a 68-70--138, after two rounds in the 15th annual Gary Sanders Memorial golf tournament at the par-71 Los Angeles National golf course in Walnut.
In the team competition, UCLA, ranked No. 2 in the country, had a four-man total of 572 and an eight-stroke lead over CS Dominguez Hills and UC Irvine going into today’s final 18 holes.
