Judge’s Reversal of Jury’s Conviction in Molestation Case
- Share via
On April 6, The Times ran two stories covering rulings made by Judge Ronald Owen.
One story was about Judge Owen’s reversal of a jury’s conviction of three men accused of child molesting. The other was about his sentencing of a murderer to death.
The Times ran the two stories adjacent to each other with the judge’s picture prominent to each story. Very appropriate to media ethics.
Judge Owen is a sincere, dedicated jurist. He followed the law in each case.
