Ruling on CIA
I am outraged at the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision giving the CIA more authority to limit its accountability to the public. The CIA, supposedly an information-gathering agency, has for years engaged in activities totally outside this area. Many informed people believe them to have been involved in government overthrows, assassinations, harbor minings, and other morally abhorrent acts. This group of miscreants needs to have its power contained, not expanded. The Supreme Court did our country and the world a great disservice with this decision.
