Three bandits wearing ski masks pistol-whipped a Wells Fargo guard in the parking lot of a branch bank in a Miami suburb and escaped with two bags containing $106,000 cash, police said. The three men jumped from a van and ambushed the guard before he could reach an armored car, spokesman Joe DelCampo said. The guard suffered cuts on his face but was not seriously hurt, he said.
