Pepperdine and USC in Volleyball Final Four

Top-ranked Pepperdine and West Regional champion USC are the top-seeded teams in the NCAA Volleyball championships, which will be held Friday and Saturday at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
Pepperdine (23-2) meets Ball State (22-11) at 5:30 p.m. Friday, while USC (27-8) meets George Mason (27-6) at 7:30. The winners play for the title at 7:30 Saturday.
Pepperdine won its first California Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. championship with an 18-0 record and automatically advanced to the Final Four. USC gained the semifinals by defeating UCLA, the defending champion.
