Budget Chief Stockman a Father: It’s a Girl

WASHINGTON — David A. Stockman, President Reagan’s budget director, became a father today.
Jennifer Stockman gave birth to a 6-pound, 6-ounce girl at Washington’s Sibley Hospital. The Stockmans named their first child Rachel Lauren. Stockman’s office reported that mother and baby were both doing fine and that dad, a well-known workaholic, would be in the office by noon.
