CSUN Women in Finals After Three Victories

SACRAMENTO — Cal State Northridge pitchers Kathy Slaten and Delanee Anderson combined to throw a no-hitter against UC Davis in the first of three victories for the Lady Matadors Friday in the Cal State Sacramento Invitational softball tournament.
CSUN, which is the defending tournament champion, beat Davis, 1-0, and went on to post a 6-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills. The Lady Matadors shut out Chapman College, 1-0, in the final game. The three victories earned CSUN the right to play in the tournament final Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
