Alhambra

The city of Alhambra is mailing to businesses, service clubs and youth groups a wish list of items it would like to receive as gifts. The gift suggestions range from a $10 library book to $250 worth of hose for the Fire Department. The catalogue also invites donations of time and talent to city projects. Mayor Talmage V. Burke said the donations could help the city financially as it faces reduced funding from the state and federal governments.
