Saddleback Defeats Grossmont in Tennis

Saddleback College defeated Grossmont, 5-4, Wednesday in the finals of the Southern California Dual Tennis Championships at Saddleback.
In the last match, the Gaucho doubles team of Mike Acuya and Carl Citrine defeated Doug Eli and Wayne Ober of Grossmont, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5, to break a 4-4 tie and clinch the title for Saddleback.
Saddleback, the defending state champion, travels to Chabot College in Hayward, Thursday to compete in the state championships.
