Brian Moore, a Whitley Heights homeowner and Hollywood civic activist, has been named president of the Federation of Hillside and Canyon Assns., an umbrella organization of 42 Santa Monica Mountain and hillside neighborhood groups.
Moore, who heads the Hollywood Coordinating Committee, is resigning his longtime post as president of the Whitley Heights Civic Assn. to take over the hillside group.
He succeeds Carole Stevens, who was president of the hillside group for three terms. Stevens will become chairwoman of the hillside group’s governing board.
