Crenshaw Wins Denmark Tournament

AARHUS, Denmark — Stephen Thompson scored 34 points as Crenshaw High School defeated Turkey, 138-88, for the title in the International Basketball Tournament for School Teams here Thursday.
David Carter added 32 points for the Cougars against Turkey’s Galatasaray Lycee school.
The field included 16 teams, most from Western Europe.
A crowd of 1,300 saw the final, which ended six days of competition at the Vejby-Risskov sports complex in Aarhus, Denmark’s second-biggest city.
