‘Unsung’ Heroes Happy

Thank you for your excellent article (Feb. 24), “Johnson Named as Engineer of Year.” It was the most thorough coverage we have ever seen on Engineers’ Week. The 120,000 members of our various engineering societies under the umbrella group, the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering, expressed considerable delight at reading about the “unsung” heroes of engineering.
As an institute that strives to promote a better public understanding of engineers and engineering, the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering couldn’t possibly hope to get a broader or more complete exposure of engineering people and topics. Your work made us feel good about our work.
