Dons’ Silva Named MVP of South Coast

For the second consecutive year, Alani Silva of Santa Ana College has been named the Most Valuable Player of the South Coast Conference in a vote of conference softball coaches.
Silva, a pitcher, had a record of 8-1 with an earned-run average of 0.52. She batted a conference-high .438.
