Schroeder Brain Hemorrhage Smaller

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The hemorrhage in William Schroeder’s brain is getting smaller, but the artificial heart recipient is still unable to speak, a hospital spokeswoman said today.
A computer-enhanced X-ray performed Tuesday showed a decrease in size of hemorrhage, which “indicates some clearing of the affected area,” said Donna Hazle, public affairs director for Humana Hospital Audubon. Schroeder, 53, remained in critical but stable condition.
