Sen. Wilson Out of Hospital

WASHINGTON — Sen. Pete Wilson, pale and a little thinner from an emergency appendectomy, walked out of Bethesda Naval Medical Center today with instructions from his doctors to take life easy for at least a month.
But the California Republican, whose dramatic midnight ambulance ride from the hospital to cast a crucial vote on the budget a week ago, told aides as he emerged from the hospital, “I am anxious to get back to work.”
