Celtics and 76ers Not on TV Sunday

Game 3 of the Boston-Philadelphia NBA Eastern Conference final will be televised by Channel 2 Saturday at 12:30 p.m. PDT, but Game 4 Sunday will not be shown.

Because CBS is televising the Colonial golf tournament at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Game 4 of the Lakers’-Nuggets Western Conference final at Denver will not start until 3 p.m. PDT. That’s 6 p.m. in the East, a starting time that would cause the game to run over into “60 Minutes.”

Since the Lakers-Nuggets game will not be shown in the East, it was decided that the Celtics-76ers game would not be shown in the West. Instead, Channel 2 will televise a movie at 10 a.m. PDT.
