Winners Picked in Laguna Photo Contest

In the first “BCibachrome” competition sponsored by the Laguna Beach-based BC Space Gallery and Ilford Inc., three photos were drawn from among 277 Southland entries for top prizes.
First place was awarded jointly to Patrick Nagatani and Andree Tracey of Los Angeles for “Unsafe Light,” above.
Second place went to San Juan Capistrano artist Mihoko Yamagata for “Diary,” top left.
Third place was won by Robin Valle of Los Angeles for one photo in her “Fairfax Ladies” series, left.
These and 72 other photos will be on view at the BC Space Gallery Saturday through June 15. A public reception is scheduled for Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
