‘Why No Fury’ at Soviets?

I wish to express my appreciation for Conine’s column.

I am at a complete loss to understand why some people insist on rehashing injustices of the past to the point of paranoia--while the Soviets, with their uncanny and insidious ability to “come up smelling like a rose,” massacre the people of Afghanistan (and others, for that matter), only to go unnoticed, to say nothing of unpunished.
