Boy, About 8 Years Old, Found Shot to Death

A boy believed to be about 8 years old was found shot to death in South Los Angeles on Thursday evening, authorities said.
The unidentified body was found behind a house in the 3800 block of South Wall Street near Martin Luther King Boulevard, police said.
A neighbor, who asked not to be identified, said officials did not know who the child was and were asking area residents for information.
Police said there was no immediate evidence to suggest that street gangs were involved in the death.
