A Show of Quilts
Quilt making is solidly established as an American folk-art form. To enhance the popularity of quilts as collectibles, Beacon Hill Attic Antiques, Toluca Lake, will be conducting a quilt/ sampler show and clinic on Saturday, May 25. The more than 100 pieces to be exhibited for sale include classic patterns such as the Tree of Life, Flying Geese, Irish Chain, Nine Patch and Postage Stamp. In addition, four experts in the field will be on the premises to offer advice on quilt care and assist collectors who want to have their personal quilts appraised.
